Happy 2011

Well this was supposed to start yesterday but as always I'm a day late and a dollar short....ALWAYS!!!  So I will post twice today to catch up.  The first post was supposed to be an introduction to me, my kids, my life, what this blog is all about and why I started it so....here we go.

I am a single parent....hence the title "Single Mother" (for those of you who couldn't figure that out).  I have 2 children Mason who is my 9 year old son and Allie who is my 10 year old daughter.  Both very different and give me joy and ulcers at the same time.  I was posting a lot of stuff on Facebook but they both have a page on Facebook and they get upset when I post stuff about them thus this is MY way of venting, passing on the funny stuff, getting out the stuff that bugs me and just telling stories about them and my life and hopefully they will never find this.  So if you read this and are a friend of mine on FB don't pass this on through there, please and thank you.  This is also a way for me to look back at the end of the year and see all that has happened both with my life and with my children....a diary so to speak.  Who knows maybe I'll write a book someday, that would piss my kids off.

So I originally wanted to call this "Diary of an Underpaid, Overworked, Stressed Out, Not Dating, Gray Headed, Middle Aged, Unappreciated Single Mom......It wouldn't fit.   But this is how I feel.  I work hard and I love my job but I never seem to get ahead financially and the bills just pile up.  I have tried some dating sites and met a couple of nice guys but it never seems to work out so it must be me, maybe through this blog I can figure out what on earth I am doing wrong and fix it and find a nice guy....maybe not.  I have been out with old boyfriends and well that works wonderfully....there is a reason why you stopped dating them....hello!  But just between us there is one I dated a while ago and again just recently and I wish we could have made it work.  I don't really know if it was him or me, he said it was the kids but he is now with someone with kids so I'm really confused.  But that is another story. 

Well that is a bit about what to expect if you decide to read and follow which I hope you will.  We shall see how this goes it should be an interesting ride.  Hope you will come along with me!
